I said yes but before everyone attacks me, hear me out. I am a very active outdoorsy person who hikes and wakeboards and works out. My current bf and I go on all sorts of adventures and workouts together and the fact that he goes and does that with me is why I fell in love with him. If he got fat (if he gained a few pounds whatever, but if he got actually fat) that would mean that the adventurous outdoorsy stuff that I fell in love with him for isn’t happening anymore and I couldn’t be in a relationship where that’s the case. So it’s not so much that I’d break up with him because he got fat but it would be that I’d break up with him because he didn’t want to be adventurous and workout with me which would cause him to get fat. (This all assumes my bf doesn’t have a health crisis in which he would have to stop doing these activities for health reasons)

No, but I wouldn’t be as attracted to him as I am now. We met because we worked at the same gym. I’m fit, he’s ripped, and that was a big part of our attraction to each other. I feel like he’d say the same. Fat isn’t attractive to us, but we wouldn’t leave one another just because of that.

No. Because weight is something that can be altered and if them gaining some weight is still comfortable to them then I won't judge. If my SO became obese I would try to get them help, not abandon them. My rule is don't judge someone based on something they can't change in 10 seconds. Weight, acne, skin color, etc.
