Thrush

Baby and I have thrush 😫 she will be 5 weeks old on Thursday and has been taking nystatin for just about a week... I still see little dots on back of tongue but it is better than it was. I’ve been using all purpose nipple cream and just started diflucan yesterday. I’m boiling all pacifiers after every use and haven’t started pumping and won’t until this clears up. Has anyone else dealt with this? Everything I read online is so discouraging as far as getting rid of thrush. I read a lot that suggests using gentian violet but then further research says it can cause ulcers in baby’s mouth and has been banned in certain countries. What have your experiences been? I just want this gone!
