My toddler cut her hair! 😩

Here is before she cut her hair

So a few weeks ago my 2 year old daughter cut her hair st the daycare. It was just a little amount that I couldn’t hide with new bangs you can still slightly see the shorter part under her bangs but not too much. It didn’t bother me too much because all toddlers find some way to cut their hairs themselves.

2 weeks go by and it was the weekend so we were home. I was in my room with my newborn baby changing and feeding her while my older kids were watching cartoons 2,4,6 year old. Next thing I knows my son (6) comes into the room and tells me Gracie (2) has cut her hair again. I got really upset. She found her stool and got to the drawers and found my scissors(I sew often and put away all my stuff). I was wondering why it was alittle too quiet over in the living room. I was so upset I didn’t want to cut my little girls hair! And her curls may never come back!

I cut hair so it wasn’t a problem to cut it but I didn’t want to. At this point I was almost crying cutting her hair that took so long to grow the length it did.

Realizing the short hair suits her I just started laughing so much because it looked so good on her and I wasn’t upset anymore. I think she was sick of me brushing her difficult hair every morning from her curls and fixing it in elastics. She looks so mature now and her 3rd Birthday is coming up this month.
