I believe that vaccines save lives..but the part I’m dreading is having my baby have so many shots so early on in life. I plan to talk to our future pediatrician about spreading them out and/or delaying some of them.

Its a little heartbreaking to cause them pain and see them cry. But the temporary pain which they won’t remember is worth the benefits. While I believe every parent has the right to choose what’s best for their baby, I think many make a decision based on a trend, misconceptions, and poor research. You have to make a decision that’s best for you and your baby, but remember your decision also affects my baby and all the other people they will come into contact with

My first actually did really well with all his shots.  I always had a bottle prepped (if you breastfeed, you can ask to feed them before you leave as this really helps calm them down).  The MMR and my sons yearly flu shot were the ones that caused him to cry the most.  
 
Blood tests... frack.  I hate taking him to get his blood tests (at 1 year they check their iron).  I treated my son to a Jamba Juice smoothie that day but I myself was a damn mess.  Yikes!!
 
My youngest will also eat all his shots and I’m curious to see how big brother reacts hahaha.
