Preemptively terrified of motherhood

I just read the argonauts by Maggie Nelson which reignited my apparent fear of motherhood; the fear of being a mother myself one day, and a phobia of seeing other people becoming mothers, everything that goes with it, body changes and terrifyingly huge emotions. I’m very far away from being a mother myself, if at all. I’m wondering if any of you have some insight, what are the best parts of motherhood and having a child, or, what makes all the pain worth it for you? It’s a thing I’d love to understand
