My boyfriend and I have been together for almost a year. Today he came to me and told me he is deploying in a few months and it sent me in a spiral we’ve had some rough patches to get through and my biggest worry is that when he comes back from deployment he will be out of the service and be back home while I still have 2 years left. I asked him about marriage and he doesn’t want to for another 6 years after he gets out. I feel like somethings wrong or that we aren’t even going to make it and when I talk about it to him he says we will be fine and he wants a future but he doesn’t say anything to comfort me about my insecurities until we’ve had an argument and I tell him to go away. I’m not sure what to say think or do. Advice??
