What are the chances of getting pregnant before ovulation? We’ve baby danced everyday since over gotten off my period and I’m suppose to be at my surge in 4 days but I’m crampy a good bit today. Ovulation test and temp show I haven’t ovulated yet.

It is impossible to conceive before ovulation. Ovulation releases the egg, which the sperm needs to meet in order to become pregnant. Therefore, the chances are 0% that you are pregnant before ovulation.

Ovulation tests don’t test for ovulation, only the LH surge before ovulation happens. If you have sex the days leading up to ovulation then it’s a better chance to catch the egg. Sperm can live for up to 5 days but it’s less of a chance that they are there waiting when the egg is released and they would most likely die off before then. Your most fertile days is when you want to be having sex.
