Gender bender? To find out or not to find out and why? 🤔

Question

I'm 20 weeks exactly today and have a beautiful Daughter who turns 2 on sept 27th. 
My Husband really wants a boy- he cried when we found out my now daughter was a she- and they weren't happy tears unfortunately- and i will never let him live it down 😂- 
I want a boy but i would love another girl too and this may not be our last pregnancy so it's not our only chance for a boy but i am a bit nervous. We have our anatomy scan  on monday and I'm a little scared to be a told it's a girl, if I'm honest. I think it's very lovely and lucky to have one of each first up. I think my feeling is he's a boy. 🤔

Find out now, have time to get used to the idea so there is no tinge of gender disappointment on delivery day.

I said not to find out but that’s before I read your story. I think do find out because of hubbys hopes and have the chance to get past any hard feelings now.

So , my daughter is almost two years old in dec, since then ive had three miscarriages since October last year 2017, when we found out we were pregnant we were so excited as this our rainbow 🌈 baby, however my husband wants a boy but im ok with either or just want a healthy baby.. with that being said we are waiting till the baby is born to find out the gender

We were in the exact same situation (except my husband wasn't that upset we had a girl first, we both just wanted a boy) and we decided to find out for planning purposes, and if it was a girl to go through any gender disappointment now rather than later 🤷 my sister in law has 3 girls (her husband has cried everytime it's been a girl bc he wants a boy) and they just got pregnant again and he is insisting they don't find out. It is their last so no more chances after this one 🤷 I would say do whatever will make you most happy and comfortable 😊 also you may find out without intending to if you see a potty shot or the tech slips up.

I'm in this position with my first. My husband is DESPARATE for a boy!!! To the point that we are NOT finding out until the baby is born.
He knows he'll be disappointed if we find out at the scan that this mythical thing that isn't here yet is going to be a girl, and will feel guilty for feeling this. 
Its been a difficult pregnancy so far. He knows that if he doesn't know the sex and we get through all of this and at the end of labour if they hand him a healthy little baby he will be over the moon with happiness and won't care if it's a girl or a boy.

I knew both my kids genders before actually finding out. Idk how I knew, I just did. I'm all for "team green" I think the surprise is cute but I always find out the gender of mine because it makes it so much easier to shop for them and pick a name.

Just find out. Its so annoying when people refuse in all honesty. Like you don't like to be prepared? Lol My fiance and I wanted a girl, found out we're having a boy. I was a tad disappointed but then got excited because I finally can use the name I've been sitting on for years!

Definitely find out now so there is plenty for of time to get used to the idea of what you're having! Gender disappointment is normal and doesn't mean you don't love the baby. Sometimes people (including me) need time to get over not having what they wished for.

I wanted to find out because I wanted to know, my husband and I could care less if it were a boy or girl... we just wanted to know so we can shop accordingly. So sad when people have gender disappointment I’m just happy my baby is healthy
