How long??

Question

How long did you try before you became pregnant? Day, weeks, months, or years?? 
How long did you have to monitor ovulation before pregnancy?

We have had a long emotional process. My husband got sick and bc of his meds we were told by the dr we have a very low chance to conceive. We haven't been trying for a long time but then we started trying again since he is off this medicine his count should go higher since it was a lot related to his meds.
It's devastating the thought that we could possibly never have a child but then I see all these Miracle stories about people who have tried for years and years and I just pray and keep my fingers crossed that we could one day become one of them stories!
We've never actually watched my ovulation or tried to conceive in the fertile period. We just always had Unprotected sex with the mindset of if it happens it happens!!
We did however within the last month or so try to watch my window. (We have been together for 9 years)
So now we are actually trying trying and hopes that one day it will happen so getting everybody's advice and feedback is definitely much appreciated and very encouraging.

A year and it only happened when we stopped trying.

Me and my SO weren’t trying but weren’t stopping it either, by the second month I got pregnant

Been trying for a little over two months and nothing yet. I ovulate in a week, I'm hoping it's our month! I know it can take up to a year for healthy couples though, so I'm trying to stay patient!

We tried for a little over a year. I just tracked my ovulation on this app. In July, I gave up and wasn’t trying anymore. I ovulated on July 20th but baby danced on July 19th. Didn’t think anything of it and got pregnant.

With our first, we weren't trying! With our second, we got pregnant the second month. I did use ovulation tests because I wasn't sure when I was ovulating but I don't think they're necessary.

Went off bc in Jan. Had chemical in June. Used opk & had sex on ovulation day in July & got pregnant

3 months but had a loss. Tried again pretty much right away and took another 3 months.

I never used OPK'S I just went off of the fertile week from this app. I was pregnant by month 3. Average time it takes to conceive with a healthy couple is 6 months up to a year. I was very lucky to be able to get pregnant so quickly.
