Are we suppose to BD after IUI?

My hubs and I had our first IUI this morning, and our doctor didn’t say If we should/shouldn’t have intercourse after? I forgot to ask and now I’m freaking out, what did y’all do and did you get pregnant🤔🤦🏻‍♀️🙃

I had my first IUI last month and was advised to BD everyday for 4 days then every other day for 4 more days. We were too stressed and anxious from the whole IUI process so we only did it the 2 days after our IUI and it worked for us 🙏🏽🙌🏽. I've also heard of others getting pregnant from just the IUI but if you're feeling up for it I'd say BD for a few days to maximize your chances. Best of luck to you!

My doctor said we could if we wanted to but I was so tired we didn't. It was our first iui and now we are 5 weeks pregnant :)

I am about to have my first one and my doctor told me to have lots of sex after lol so yes definitely do!

Our fertility specialist recommends intercourse the day after IUI. They don’t recommend it the same day because your cervix, etc can be sore/scratched from the procedure.
