Does he like me?

So there this guy who I like A LOT. Basically in 6th grade he teased me a lot (he teases every single girl he talks to). And then in 7th grade, he was suddenly really nice to me, but his behavior towards others didn’t change, and this year he’s been really nice too. The thing is, he likes this other girl too and everyone knows he likes her. In fact, I just caught him checking out her butt yesterday during gym. But the thing is, I’m the only girl he’s actually nice to, at least as far as I know of. He listens to me better than he listens to teachers and he respects me. I’ve also caught him sneaking glances at me, and on the second day of seventh grade my friends both thought that he liked me just based on his actions, like looking at me whenever I talked but looking down while everyone else was talking. He also asked me to work with him on several things, which is unusual because he usually doesn’t like to get help, especially from girls. So based on this very succinct summary of his behavior towards me, would you say he likes me? Because I was always confused so I was planning on telling him on the last day of school this year, before we go to different high schools. But if a lot of people think he likes me then I might tell him earlier.
