Period or pregnant?

I recently was 3 days late, however the period I had was not a traditional period. It was very light, actually just spotting and only 3 days of it. I took two home pregnancy tests and both were negative. I also had a test done at my doctors office, and that blood test came back negative according to the doctor. I also had an A1C test done and my result was the exact same as it was 4 months ago, which I find very strange considering I've been having even better numbers than before.  I've been really nauceous lately too. My husband thinks I'm pregnant. So, my question is...do you think I'm pregnant? Or am I just overthinking this? Have any of you had similar issues? Thanks in advance!!
