Post partum weight loss - how to kick start it

Hey ladies - do you have any tips? I lost the initial baby weight (my daughter was nine pounds) and some water weight in the first 5 days but since then the scale hasn’t budged!

I’m pretty upset about it... I haven’t lost so much as a pound in the last 3 weeks... I’m breastfeeding and trying to go for 2 mile walks every day. I did go for a run a 3 weeks postpartum but then I started bleeding like crazy so obviously I’m not ready to work out. I’m waiting until my doctor clears me to try again. I feel fine down there but I guess not.

I’m starving all the time because of breastfeeding but I do a good job not over eating... I think anyway. So I already feel like I’m dieting because I’m always hungry. I’m probably eating 1800-2000 calories a day.

I really thought I’d lose a little more before my 6 week check up. I gained 39lbs while pregnant... and I’m only down 17. (And that all came off the first 3 days... I was really swollen) I was up 10lbs when I got pregnant to begin with because of a bad reaction to a new birth control so I still have about 35 lbs to lose to be where I was last summer.

I’m really discouraged. When I get on the scale in the morning I just cry. The weight is evenly distributed over my whole body so I can’t wear any of my clothes except leggings and nursing tank tops. I tried buying some clothes two sizes bigger and they didn’t fit so I returned them.

If you have ANY suggestions about what worked for you I could use them... I’m feeling pretty down on myself.
