Is anyone into baking bread?

My husband and I just got into making traditional sourdough bread and have been loving it! We just finished making a starter and levain. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions for bread making? We're kind of noobs to it so anything helps! :)

I have a very handy bread machine :) I've made sourdough, banana nut, French bread, cheesy bread, pretzels, bread sticks, so many things! :)

I only ever make banana bread and blueberry bread, even then it's just to use up the fruit so I don't have to throw it away Lol but my husband loves it.

I havent made sourdough but ive made white, wheat, rye...Make sure any yeast you use is fresh, and a warm (like over 72 degrees) and slightly humid house helps the bread proof and rise way better.

I really just follow the recipes as best as I can, bread is really something you learn as you go because there are so many factors like elevation, how old your flour is or size of eggs or room temperature.  My husband and I really like breads with a nice crust so I use my Dutch oven and it comes out perfect every time!

How noob is noob? 
I know if you mix/ kneed for too long it will make the bread hard and not as fluffy! lol that's all I got

Banana bread is the easiest bread I've ever made!! It's delicious and you can add nuts, or chocolate chips 😁 go on Pinterest you'll find a tons of recipes on there!

I love homemade goods! I make muffins and cookies the most. This time of year apple pie!! Our newest favorite is Amish friendship bread its amazing! A tip I've learned is if it looks almost done it just may finish cooking on the cooling rack. If you put it in for two more minutes it might dry it out to much and make it to done.
