Can sitting in the car for a long time in hot weather cause a diaper rash?

My lo gets heat rash whenever we’re in the car for more than 10 minutes because we have no ac, he always always always gets a diaper rash with it, but it goes away in a day or two like heat rash without the need for creams or airing out like a regular diaper rash 🤷🏻‍♀️

If there’s sweat, yeah. It happens because the skin in the diaper area can’t stay dry.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that happens. It can get extremely hot in the car seats.
