I hate surprises

So idk what it is with me but I 1000% hate being surprise I want to know about everything and ik it’s bad and my boyfriend was telling me how he wants to get my ring this weekend and now I can’t stop thinking about it and it gets me scared and nervous because how much I don’t like them does anything have tips for me or is anyone like this?
