Need some advice

So I have recently been considering adopting a kitten. I really want to get another cat before I have a baby. I’m currently pregnant, almost 18 weeks.

However here is my issue. I have a female cat, she’s about 2.5 years old and she’s a tortie so she has a bit of an attitude. I am very worried that she won’t like the new kitten and she may bully him. She hasn’t been around cats since she was 8 weeks old. She is the queen bee. However I am so concerned that if I don’t get another cat soon she may never allow me to get another animal as she’ll be cranky lol.

Any advice on this? How to introduce them and how to calm h r down and be okay with another kitten? I don’t want to get attached to one to have to find it a new home.
