HCG levels rising but not doubling?

So I had my levels taken this past  Friday morning and it was at 13,072 and I went in today in the morning and they are now 18,810. They didn’t exactly doubled. My case worker ( I was assigned one since I had a miscarriage last month) said she isn’t too concern but they should be doubling. I need to go back Thursday morning again to get my levels checked. Plus I have an ultrasound this Friday. I am a little nervous because they aren’t doubling like they should! This is my first time getting my levels checked. None of my other pregnancies were checked. Any one has been through a similar situation?

When levels reach that high they double every 3-4 days not 2-3 like in early stages. It’s normal

I am going through a similar thing. My hCG has been rising but no where near doubling, but then yesterday’s blood draw did show that it doubled (in 72 hours, not 48). They have been telling me the whole time to expect a miscarriage, but then an ultrasound yesterday showed a heartbeat 🤷🏼‍♀️. This is the first pregnancy where they’ve monitored hCG (last pregnancy was ectopic), and it’s making me crazy.

Once you get above 8-10,000 it takes longer to double for most people. 3-4 days. Typically past 6 weeks an ultrasound is much more telling. I wouldn’t stress! Good luck!!

They stop doubling as quickly once they’re in the early thousands.

When your hcg reaches a certain level it takes longer for it to double sometimes 3-4 days

How far along are you? Usually once you get over about 6-7 weeks, they won't necessarily double anymore, so as long as they are rising and at a pretty good pace, there shouldn't be any reason for concern.

My hcg was 255 then 485... so not double but close. I went back a few days later and my hcg was 2600 which was great and now all is well 🙏

With my second pregnancy, mine didn't double as they should. I also had low progesterone and had to take prometrium for the first trimester. With this pregnancy they aren't doubling, either, but the increase is gaining. I'm also having other issues other than just the hCG not doubling this time around.😕

I’m still going through this situation myself. I believe I’m 7 weeks. But my levels havent doubled. They’ve gone up though. And my doctor said the same thing. I’ve had a few scans , have one on the 20th. Hoping to hear a heart beat and feel more like everything will be ok. :/
