When to announce you’re prego🤷🏼‍♀️

I just found out today(after about 4-5 different tests) that I am due May 29th 2019😍 I just want to know on average when you announced your pregnancy, and when you finally felt it was finally “safe” 😊

Congrats momma! What I’m about to say may sound scary or sad, so just a warning in case you don’t want to read -
As a woman who has experienced previous pregnancy loss, and knows people that have lost babies anywhere from 6 weeks pregnant to 36 weeks pregnant, I can tell you there is no official “safe” time. The “wait till 12 weeks” thing is bullshit. Anything could happen at any time, before or after your baby is born. 
This isn’t meant to scare you away from announcing at all! My advice is instead to announce when YOU are ready, because there will be no magical time that is safe for any of us. If you’re bursting with excitement and want to announce at 5 weeks, do it! If you want to keep it secret till 20 weeks, go for it! Do what is best for you and your family - and ignore anybody who says otherwise. ❤️
All we are given is today, so enjoy and appreciate it and find joy in each day of your pregnancy. Prayers to you!

We will wait until after 12 weeks to tell our parents and kids. We’ve had too many losses. We never announced with any of our past MC and I’m so glad we didn’t because I hate attention and pity. Some people like having the support of their families and friends but I am the type to grieve in private if something goes wrong. It is absolutely up to you and what you’re comfortable with!!

We share the same due date! Found out today that we are expecting our rainbow baby. I pray this one sticks. So, to answer your question, I announced when I was about 6 weeks to family and friends and miscarried 3 weeks later. I would wait as long as you can contain yourself.

I'm waiting until 12 weeks,, only because I've been through the pain of telling people early and then having to have the conversation over and over again that I had lost it... I've told my sister and my partner oh and my doctor of course .. everyone else will find out once I hit 12 weeks... unless I hear the heartbeat(which I haven't before) and get too excited of course 😂❤️ tell people when you feel ready, 😊

We announce to family immediately, because we are too excited and because of something happened, I would want my family to know anyway. We announce to friends and the general public, usually after we hear the heart beat. Because again, if something did happen, we would still need support from people. And I say it’s never bad to have people praying for you and your bean :)

I lost my daughter last pregnancy at 19 weeks due to severe birth defect and I have a 1/25 chance of it happening again. So I’ve told my mom( she’d kill me if I didn’t lol) my work because I take X-rays and a close friend so I have someone to talk to about it. This time around I’m not going to announce to anyone else until I know baby is healthy and that will be around 16 weeks.
