Curiously needing advice/help

So I have one son and since he was 6mo old I have basically been bleeding backwards(I bleed most of the month and barely get a break) last summer I tried a birth control pill and it switched the first pack and went right back to normal, I recently started a new pill and haven’t even made it to my ‘green’ week and my calendar is saying I’m 4says late and the past week or so my mucus has actually been quite a bit. My mom was always on it with her pills and no have a 9yr old brother from it lol so should I take a test or wait it out? I do have 2 spare tests lol
