October baby became a September baby

🤷‍♀️👑

Ok, so i went to my dr appointment this morning for a NST and 35 week checkup. Come to find out, I had to be induced asap. Baby was not growing at all, my stomach was actually getting smaller and I was not gaining weight and baby was not doing the best on NST.

Get to the hospital before 11am. Get induced at 12:30pm. Was in labor for just a little over 10 hours.

I progressed great on my own. Well my legs had went numb and I had reached for my leg to move it and noticed blood. I thought "oh hey my water broke on it's own this time around!" Well come to find out I was 10cm and my water DID NOT break, it was just ALOT of blood just everywhere. They rushed to get the Dr. He came running in and said we had to start pushing asap because my placenta had ruptured and we didnt know how long I was bleeding for and how much blood and I was going to keep losing more.

Literally 2 pushes and my baby boy was laid on my chest. Dr had to slow down when delivering the placenta because i was just bleeding non stop and he couldn't get it all to stop. I started going in and out of conciousness and was shaking and dizzy and only thing i could actually hear was when my baby cried. I didnt even know he was laid in my arms for a picture, his dad had held him into my arms. The after labor was the worst I have had. They are monitoring me now like crazy to ensure I won't need blood transfusion. One nurse said I was lucky I listened to the dr right away and did exactly what he said because usually anybody who ruptures goes straight to emergency c section. Things could have went worse but thankful it didn't. Having my son early, saved his life. If my placenta would've ruptured at home, there would be no telling if he would've made it out alive.

Baby boy is doing great other than needing a little bit of oxygen. As of right now they are saying he will be here at the hospital for 3-5 days.

They also sent my placenta off to lab to find out what was going on with the pregnancy as to why it was not maintaining the baby during pregnancy and why it ruptured.

Alexander Charles was born quickly at 10:44pm weighing 4lbs 14.5oz and was 18.5 in long.

Update: baby boy is great! He was only on oxygen for short period. And he is on IV fluids and antibiotics but they just cut down the dosage for the fluid again and it is now lowest. They are hoping his sugars stay elevated and they can take the IV out! He will be a free baby and be able to come to the room.

As far as me, they have my bleeding under control for most part. If my blood count doesn't go up by tomorrow, I will be getting a blood transfusion.
