Contractions 6-10 mins apart for over 2 hours. Go to hospital??

I know the general rule is 3-5 mins apart for at least an hour but since mine have been coming for over 2 hours now should I head to L&D? Or wait until they are closer?  I am 39+5

I’d wait until they’re closer together, especially if you don’t live too incredibly far from the hospital. I’d rather have less time at the hospital and more time at home where I’m more comfortable but that’s just me.
Side note: you can call your hospital’s triage to get their opinion.

My cousin in law had 7 min apart lasting 60 seconds or longer for more than an hour.  She went in and delivered that evening!

I went when they were consistently 6 minutes or less. I would wait until they get a little closer.
