Cleft lip/palate? I have family members saying that she looks like she has cleft palate does it look like that to anybody?

Her face just looks scrunched. If your baby looked like she had a cleft lip your doctor would have indicated as much.

I can see what they are talking about. It does look like a slightly cleft lip. But it could be the angle and her face being scrunched. Take it to your next appt and ask the doctor.

Her lips look normal 😳 not sure what their seeing 🤔 Plus your doctor would tell you. Just a beautiful baby is all lol

Could be that the image got distorted and that is just a part of the philtrum smushed making it appear cleft

I mean, i see what your family is talking about, but the tech and dr would have noticed it if there was an issue. We specifically looked for it at my anatomy scan. You can always ask your dr at your next appt just for some validation though.

I see a small crease but the way they do those images can make some pictures look wonky. Baby looks fine, I would assume that a cleft lip would be more pronounced and dr would say somebthbg.

Went and had another ultrasound done today and baby girl is perfectly healthy and fine

I never had the doctor or the ultrasound tech mention anything I was sent two hours away from my house for my 20-week anatomy scan and when they checked her lips they never mentioned anything they said she had a clean bill of health

I have a strong crease in my upper lip this is all 3of my girls together including baby girl number 3
