Which do you do in a heated argument between you and your SO? (Please read description before voting and/or commenting) Thank you !

Question

You and your SO are arguing. Things get heated and a little out of hand (Maybe a tad rude/disrespectful). Your SO runs to someone else calling you curse words like: hoe, bitch, etc. while you keep everything between you guys. The girl he/she vented to posts the screenshots calling you his/her crazy bitch ex girlfriend (you were never told you guys were broken up or taking a break). 
How would you act in this situation? 
Would you run to someone else also? 
Try to fix things or leave? 
Please comment if possible, we’re studying relationships in psychology class and this would help a lot. Thank you 💛

My fiancé and I both keep things private and our arguments private, for the most part. Now I do have my best friend who I vent to. I never call my fiancé names to her though. It’s just to get things off of my chest and get someone else’s point of view. But it’s typically in person with her, never texting and talking shit about him or anything. I think everyone should have someone they can go to to vent, ask for advice, etc. Just because it’s nice getting an unbiased POV and gaining perspective of the situation in another light. 
As for name calling, we don’t do that.

The only time I think it’s appropriate to immediately tell someone what’s going on is is the case of verbal/emotional or physical abuse. Abusers deserve to be held accountable for their words and actions. 
Like for instance, how I should have been the one telling people all the horrible shit my ex was saying to me on a daily basis, but never did because I didn’t want people to hate him.... but then after an awful night of verbal and emotional abuse I come home after work to try to work things out but instead I find him talking to his mom about what “a crazy fucking lunatic” I am. That’s when I realized I’ve been doing this all wrong. I told him to tell his mama to come get him, pack his shit, and gtfo!

I'd leave him if he wants to be petty and spread our dirty laundry all over the neighborhood... I would need an actual man who can take time to himself, regroup, then we fix what was broken... no one has time for this petty bullshit and no one else needs to know what is going on in our relationship...

Our fights are private and they never get out of hand like that. We have yet to do this but if we ever fought bad enough where we needed to step away from the situation, we would turn to another married couple. He would talk to the husband and I would talk to the wife. 
I’d leave. My husband needs to respect me enough to not degrade me OR go running to another female. That tells you a whole lot about the “man” you’re with🧐

I keep it private. We work on our problems together and unless it’s so hard that I need another person’s perspective, I will not talk about our problems to others. If I have to, it will be with my mom and I keep it respectful.

We dont name call. My bf believes strongly in treating me with respect whether its to my face or not and wouldn't let others disrespect me nor would he disrespect me to others. He believes strongly in keeping our problems private between us. It would surprise me a lot to see him bad mouth me to others. 
I also prefer to keep things private. Its easy to say bad things to others when things are not good but if thats the picture they see of your partner and thats not an accurate representation of your relationship, its harder for others to support your relationship. 
I definitely wouldnt stay with a guy who treated me with such disrespect as you described. While i cant see that happening in my relationship, especially over a petty argument as you seem to be describing, if that ever happened to me in real life, i would break up. Thats extremely inappropriate as well as immature. I dont want to be with a guy who would blow up about something petty and then react in such a way behind my back. I'm an adult and i expect my partner to be at a similar level of maturity and hold themself to a certain standard. This kind of behavior is childish and not something i would ever want to put up with. Its just not worth my time or dignity.

In that situation,  seeing how he is I wouldn't try to fix things I would just leave bcuz there is just no respect at all.

My husband and me always keep things private,  but if it gets that bad and I feel like I need to talk to someone,  I'll go to his mother...shes always there to comfort me but hes more of a "keep it to himself" person, he'll never go to anyone about our problems.
