When to tell people

My husband and I are not sure when to tell. He wanted to tell everyone right away. I suggested not to. I changed my mind and want to share with our parents or my sister. He googled why not to tell people and is too worried now.
When will you gals be telling close family or friends?
We've been trying for over a year and had to be on clomid. It has taken us so long to get here. I know a baby would bring joy to our families. I just feel so positive.

I did not tell anyone with my last pregnancy and I lost the baby at 10 weeks... this time I will be announcing at 8 weeks, because I realized If something were to go wrong I would want the support of my friends and family, and them truly understand. ❤️

I’d just say be careful telling because we thought we would just tell our parents, I knew I wanted to tell my best friend so I let him tell his. I told my boss she wasn’t very quiet about it so now my coworkers all know... he really wanted to tell his coworker. Led to me telling my other 2 best friends because we’re just all so close I wanted to share with them. But it’s just spiraled out of control and I know it is way too early to be telling people

I told my 2 sisters, my best friend, & a coworker immediately lol BUT we aren’t telling our parents & family until thanksgiving! Prayerfully everything is great & we’ll be out of the first trimester!! & then thinking about announcing to the world on Christmas or New Years!

With our last one we told around 10 weeks. This one I might try to wait a little longer if I’m not showing too much. My LO is only 7 months old so this will be a huge surprise to everyone.
