Expensive miscarriage :(

I just got my final bill FINALLY for my d&c I had back in May. All the bills combined together is about $6000. Why does it have to cost so much for me to lose my baby?? 😢 we’re nearly draining our health savings account that we had saved up for pregnancy costs and whenever I get pregnant again we’re already going to be paying out of pocket for extra ultrasounds for peace of mind. I feel like when I opened that bill I lost my baby all over again and the wounds were just cut right open. I’m so frustrated and now I feel like paying for health care for my next pregnancy is just going to cause me stress. Sorry I had to vent 😢
