what do you ladies do to get rid of acne??

I wear foundation everyday but wash my face in the morning and before I go to bad with the st Ives face scrub, I don’t get a lot of pimples mainly just blackheads but my forehead is constantly bumpy because of them and I pop them all the time uhh

Throw out the St Ives, for real.
As a Beauty Therapist with 8 years experience and knowledge under my belt, I  100% recommend you invest in quality products or visit a therapist who can put you on the right track.
I’m not going to suggest any products because I would never do that without being able to access someone’s skin in person. What may work for some people, may not work for you.
Foundation does not in any shape or form cause acne. Hormonal imbalances, menstrual cycles, water intake, diet, stress, environmental changes all contribute to the appearance of our skin.

Neutrogena oil free acne wash twice a day along with Stridex acne medication pads with aloe right before bed & anytime throughout the day when my skin feels oily & I’m not wearing makeup. The Stridex pads will most likely dry out your skin while your skin gets used to them but a little lightweight moisturizer goes a long way. I used Neutrogena acne moisturizer pink grapefruit.

I’ve been prescribed doxycycline. I have hormonal acne on my jaw line and forehead cleared it right up!

My go to is removing makeup completely then using Neutrogena oil free face wash. Also remember to clean your brushes really well, especially if you start breaking out. 
Make sure you buy quality foundation and primer (primer also helps as a barrier between your skin and makeup), you don't really need to spend lots of money on any other kinds of product (eyeshadow, mascara, etc) unless you just want to.

I also love ‘eco tan’ tanning water, it’s used in place of a toner and it helps improve blemishes & skin tone, plus you get the benefit of a gradual tan.
