Kissing my newborn?!?! 🙅🏻‍♀️🙅🏻‍♀️

Okay, so I’m due to give birth in 12 days to my daughter (1st baby) how would I go about letting family members and friends know not to kiss my baby? My stepmom and her family are very “oh, nothing gonna happen” kinda people if that makes sense, and to top it off too, They smoke also, and to be completely honest I don’t want them holding her if they have been smoking, so how would I go about saying in a nice way about the kissing and smoking?

Just say no. tell them upfront, and let them know if they don’t respect your decisions they wont see baby. 
If you arent stern from the start they wont ever respect you. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My family is the same so I’m going to put a sign on the door or let everyone who visits “no kissing please and make sure you wash hands before holding thank you” ☺️ if they get butt hurt about me asking them to wash hands or the kissing part I honestly don’t give a $&@$ because my babies health comes first 💁🏽‍♀️

Don’t have to be nice about it. If they try it, tell them no. If they want to hold baby and they reek of smoke, don’t let them.

Flat out tell them. Let them know YOU are the mother. Not them. I hate when people disrespect a mothers wishes when it’s just so simple to just listen. Put your foot down girl! I’d rather hurt someone’s feelings than my baby get sick or put in danger. Good luck ❤️❤️

My pediatrician told me today she already has a confirmed case of RSV my son right now has inactive RSV. Just tell the that your baby can’t fight their germs.
