Bassinet Success Stories?

I’m a FTM due in November. I’ve read a lot of posts on here about newborns refusing to sleep in their bassinets. I bought my LO a bassinet (pictured below) to sleep in next to me in our room. I have read a lot of comments about how the Rock N’ Play has been a lifesaver for many moms and I also have several girlfriends who also cosleep or let their babies sleep in the rock n play next to their bed. As a first-time mom who has a lot of anxiety and is petrified that something will happen,I refuse to cosleep and I don’t want to use the Rock N’ Play. 
My question is, are there any bassinet success stories? Are there any moms out there whose baby actually slept in their bassinet or who eventually got used to sleeping in it? Do I just stay consistent? What are some other tips for getting her to sleep at night if she hates her bassinet? We already plan on swaddling her.

My daughter didn’t like her bassinet so we moved her to the bassinet part of her pack n play and she sleeps great.
Rock n plays are actually not safe for overnight, unsupervised sleep or for any extended period of time.

Never had any issues with my daughter sleeping in her bassinet. We actually switched to a pack n play bassinet about a month ago (I chose to do this because I liked the set up better... nothing to do with her) and there was no issues with the transition.

My son slept fine in his bassinet. We just used it since the first night home and never put him anywhere else at night to sleep so he got used to it. We did realize he liked vibration though so we found a vibration machine on amazon and put it under he mattress.  Never had an issue.

My son slept just fine in his bassinet every night. We had a Halo, but it wasn’t the kind that rocked or vibrated. We also used Halo swaddles when he was in the bassinet and they helped a lot. 
After 2 months we moved our son out of the bassinet and into his own room/crib and it was a completely flawless transition. We switched to Love to Dream swaddles when we made the transition and he immediately started sleeping 8-10 hours through the night (no wake-ups or feedings required). I recommend a bassinet to everyone!

We had a Halo bassinet that swiveled from away from the bed and close.  It had a side the dropped down for easy access to baby for breastfeeding.  We loved it and used it until our son outgrew its length at 8 weeks.  Our son HATED to be swaddled until he was moved to his crib.  He is super long for his age so he outgrew it faster than most.  After he outgrew it we loaned it to my brother and sister-in-law.  My niece used it and she was in it for 3 months.  They swaddled her in it and she loved it.  I think the success of a bassinet depends on the kid and how consistent you use it.

I bought a co sleeper bassinet and I am hoping it works out... I would let her sleep in bed with us but my husband and I are some crazy mf sleepers 😂

My son did not like his bassinet and i was fairly certain it wad cause he didnt like to sleep flat on his back because he slept great is the pack n play bassinet which had a very slight incline so i bought a new bassinet that has a little incline and he sleeps great in it! 7 weeks old and sleeping well ❤

My parents own a bassinet that all three of my siblings and I and my niece slept in and one my younger brother had an issue sleeping in it. My mom said it was a life saver for my youngest sister since it was smaller than the crib and could ne closer to the bed without actually co-sleeping with her. I'm picking the bassinet up this week from them so it can be passed down to my little boy!

My girl is fast asleep in her bassinet right now. I found that a soft blanket over the tiny “mattress” in the bassinet helped. 
Put the sheet over top of the blanket so it’s all secure and not loose. Without the blanket it seemed like the bassinet was uncomfortable and much too hard. With the blanket it’s still a firm and flat surface but much cozier! 
She sleeps in her bassinet 60% of the time. 
40% she’s in bed between us until she falls into a nice deep sleep and then transfers
Into her bassinet. She takes longer to fall asleep in the bassinet than in someone’s arms or in our bed. Best advice is don’t put baby down while they’re drowsy ... put them down when they are already sleeping

My son could have gotten use to the bassinet but I was so tired so I gave up and let him cosleep. I regret that now and wished I had stayed strong.
