GD test And Failed!!

I did my GD test on Monday and my results came back yesterday and I totally failed drastically so now I have to go back asap and do the 3 hour test never in my child bearing years when pregnant have I failed. Why now?! They didn't tell me much but to come prepared to stay 3 hours what else should I be scared of ladies?
