Did your induction end in a cesarean?

I HATE INDUCTIONS — I know so many family and friends that their inductions & my own ended in a cesarean. 
Whether it was “taking too long” or “heart rate difficulties”...
I know some csections are medically necessary but I feel a lot could be prevented if we’d allow our babies to come when they are supposed to..

I went into labor naturally at 40wks 4days and labored until completely dilated and still had to have a csection. You just never know.

My sil had 2 inductions and 2 vaginal births, I went into labor natural ended with a c section

Yes mine ended in c-section. That was because they didn’t check to see that he was breeched

Nope, I had a vaginal delivery. Was in labor for over 24 hours and when it came time to push only pushed for 20 mins. :)

No, but mine almost did. It was my first baby and I regret letting them induce me! She was faced sideways instead of face down and her heart rate dropped drastically. They thought I was going to have to have one but her heart rate went back up. It took me two hours to push her out. She obviously wasn't ready!

I agree! Almost all elective indications I know of end on c sections. Both of my sisters did (one induced at 39 weeks, one at 41+ weeks). I have co workers and friends as well who did elective indications who needed in c section. 
I did get induced due to very high bp at 38 weeks with my 1st and it went really well. 2 of my friends did elective indications and no c sections. 
I honestly don’t think elective indications should even be allowed 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve had my water break both times so far, on my third. But my sister has been induced 2x for both hers so far and no c-section. But this time she is getting an elective c-section.

I was 2 weeks late, not induced, my mom labored for 53 hours and I was still a c section

Actually there’s a study that just came out saying that babies induced at 39 weeks actually do better and need less interventions than those who come at 40
Or later on their own. I’m being induced at 39 for medical reasons but after being checked the past three appts with no cervical change I’d probably opt for an elective induction without medically needing it. You could also go to 40 or 41 weeks and still need an induction. Not sure why so many are against it. Just my personal outlook though
