Finally back to write my birth story!!!

well you guys, I’m a little late on my labor story, but it was the most traumatic thing I’ve ever been thru! 😞 I went to the hospital Bc I was in early labor, two days before having a TERRIBLE hurricane, and they wanted to send me home, I had to beg them to let me stay and see what happens Bc I could possibly not have any emergency help Bc of flooding! So that night I was still 1 cm dialted, but 75% effaced at 8:30 pm, they put a pill in me and two hours later my water broke, still 1 cm. So we waited it out and checked again around 12 am and I was 3cm and I wanted a epidural so bad, but they had two other girls in front of me, I didn’t get an epidural til 4 am when I was 6cm, and they stuck me THREE times and none of those times worked, I felt a little numb I’m right leg, other than that I felt EVERYTHING. 8 am gets here and I’m 9cm dilated, and he wants me to wait one more hour and see what happens, 9:25 and still 9cm, but he tells me to go ahead and start pushing, I push for 1 hour straight, and finally her head starts coming out, but she’s stuck in my canal, cord wrapped around her neck and she’s not breathing :(((( they have to cut me and literally pull her out of me, they lay her on the table and still no movement they rush her and put her on the oxygen machine and two hours later I finally meet me PRINCESS!! God wasn’t letting her leave me just yet. I’m so in love at 10:27 am, 9/11/18 E’Laina Renèe Barrett was born 💓💓 and now she’s 1 week and 2 days old!!!
