I really need to understand what TTC and all the ovulation kits mean and do because that's something that me and my husband have not tried yet and maybe that is why I am still not pregnant after 6 months of trying

Ttc means trying to conceive. The ovulation kit had some tests that use the same principle as pregnancy tests but they detect lh hormone. When you are about to ovulate you have an lh surge which the test picks up. An ovulation test is positive if the test line is as dark or darker than the control line and when you get a positive it means you will ovulate 12 to 24 hours later. One has to start testing a couple of days after you finish your period until you get a positive. You can find them in stores or online (cheaper). Hope this helps.
