Home Birth VS Hospital Birth
All right ladies I need some serious help. This is my fourth pregnancy with first two I was induced and really didn’t feel labor. With my third I was in labor for 30 minutes and made it to the hospital when I was crowning and almost had my baby in the car. Which leads me to my point of topic at first I really didn’t even want to consider having a homebirth because honestly it scares me. But seeing as my doctor is worried that with this baby might labor could potential he be even shorter than 30 minutes. So my husband and I have decided that we are going to meet with a midwife/Doula to consider our options about a homebirth. My birth with my daughter was very Trumatic, stressful, and I felt like I did not get the upmost care that I deserved as a patient especially when it came to breast-feeding. Even after consulting with the lactation consultant I felt very lost and did not feel confident often breast-feeding when I left the hospital. This is something that I want to avoid at all costs. Seeing as this is my husband and I asked last child after battling with cancer for two years we were told that we would not be able to have any more children and then our miracle baby came. I know that I want to have a very peaceful stress-free birth where I get all of the information that I need an education to be able to breast-feed this time around successfully. After being on the Internet for the last three hours homebirth is almost completely freaked me out. I really want to hear some success stories and your pros and cons to why you feel homebirth works for you better or why you feel hospital births works for you better. I’ve been on both sides of the spectrum hair my first delivery my son was missing half of his colon “ SOMETHING we couldn’t see on an ultrasound” therefore being at the hospital saved his life. I know this is a very long rant but I would greatly appreciate any advice and put or experience you have to share thank you so much and I wish all the love in the world blessings and happy healthy pregnancies and deliveries to all you wonderful women. ❤️
