Rebound guy or feelings?

On Tuesday my boyfriend of a year broke up with me due to lack of sex, was best friend then I realized just how bad he actually treated me. Yesterday out of nowhere a guy friend who I haven't seen in years comes in town from a state away and asks me to the movies. I saw the movie and there was no moves being made on me or anything up until he walks me to my car and then I actually look at him in a different light I guess and it's like damn was he always this handsome I didn't notice? And my heart started racing and shaky knees and swear and I didn't even get that way with my ex. He apparently went in for a kiss but I got nervous and Christian side hugged him without noticing that he tried to kiss me. Guy just enlisted deploys soon. Is this what a rebound is supposed to be like or?
