I accidentally scared the crap out of my baby tonight (see a few posts below) and I feel SO incredibly awful. I'm worried that it was a traumatizing moment for her at only 7 weeks old and that it might have a lasting impact on her.

I basically thought she stopped breathing in her sleep so I ran out of the room panicking with her, screaming really loudly and frantically for my husband.

Has anyone else ever accidentally scared a baby this young? I feel so bad 😭 She woke up to my screaming and she was crying so hard, her face was red, and she had tears streaming down her little cheeks. It even took a minute or two to calm her down with breastfeeding...she was so upset and crying so hard that she wouldn't latch at first. She just kept bawling.

Do you think this made a lasting impact on her?
