So my boyfriend of almost 5 years broke up with me last night, we had been together since we were 15. He said he gradually lost feelings for me over the past month. But anyway, I texted his mom this morning to thank her for everything her family did for me and how welcoming and sweet they always were to me. She responded saying "I didn't know, I'm so sorry I hope you're doing okay you're such a wonderful beautiful girl" and then I replied saying I really appreciated it not thinking she'd reply, but she responded "I'm so sad" and I don't know what to say. Obviously I'd like to say "me too" or something about how I wasn't expecting it
