Coming off the pill and starting a family

I have come off the pill recently after 9 years Of taking it regularly. I now feel ready to start a family with my partner. Any experiences of people coming off the pill and how did it affect their body? And how long until your body and cycles came back to normal? And how quickly did you conceive? Thanks
