When no news is not always good news

I failed my 1 hr glucose test. I took my test Thursday and was told the results would be in Friday so when I didn’t hear anything I assumed good news. Fast forward to my appt today and when I get here the nurse said I failed 😑 She said she was going to call me yesterday but saw I’d be coming in today 🙄. But why me 😭😭😭 I know you can’t control it but I hadn’t eaten since 11p the night before, drunk the glucose drink at 9:50a like what happen lol

I failed my 3 hour test and now have to watch my sugar and startch intake. Yes it can be controlled its just kinda hard. Good luck.

Why you? Because placentas suck and they don’t care if you’re healthy, thin, overweight, faster for hours or not.

Nothing went wrong... There’s nothing you could have done about how your body processes glucose. It’s doing what it’s gonna do weather fasted or not.

I’ve always been told not to fast for my glucose test and to make sure I eat a healthy though low sugar breakfast before my teat appointment with each pregnancy. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ve passed every time. My best friend thought she was supposed to fast and ended up failing her one hour but passing the 3 hour.

I failed my one hour but passed my three hour one! I did lots of research online and the number to pass the one hour is really low so that way they can catch anyone else. I also accidentally fasted for my one hour, which I think may have impacted it.

Last pregnancy I failed the 1hr and didn't know until my next appt 4 weeks later. This pregnancy they seem to call and make me come in right away for every little thing most of which they could just tell me over the damn phone rather than wasting my time and money driving all the way down there.

yep I did the same timing for my 1hr and found out this morning that I failed by like a small bit
I got 139. I don't see my doctor till next week which is when he'll probably make me come in for a 3 hr test which I'm depressed about

I haven’t received my results yet, but I was told it was not a fasting test and to eat. I will probably get my results on Friday.

Omg same happened to me I took my
Test on the 14th, just heard back today and I failed and have to do the 3 hr. I am so pissed because my patient portal results said they were within normal limits and I never heard anything back, I had it with my daughter and I’m pregnant with twins this time around so I thought for sure I had it, but after not hearing anything and seeing
My patient portal, I thought for sure I did not have it 😡🤬😢😭.
