Induction scheduling?

Hey mamas! 
FTM here, with gestational diabetes...so the doctor let me know they will be inducing me around 38/39 weeks. I’m currently 35+2. 
How did your doctor go about scheduling your induction? Did you get any input on the date? How far out did they schedule it?

I had gestational hypertension when I was 38 weeks pregnant. They officially diagnosed me on a Wednesday, then they scheduled it before my appointment was done for Friday. But I think it depends on the urgency of your situation when they go to schedule it.

I had hypertension and both of us measured behind. So I was doing twice weekly NSTs and once a week AFIs the last 7 weeks of pregnancy. They talked about 37 or 39 week induction. Then she said maybe if my blood pressure stayed borderline she'd just let me go naturally. That's how we ended that. Until my 39 week NST and my blood pressure shot up again. 160/98 so she said come in 2 days from now to start the induction. We were shocked but we pretty much didn't have a say in the matter and no option as far as scheduling. It was a we cant let this go any further without compromising the safety of both mom and baby so it's happening as soon as we possibly can.

I’m 32 weeks and my scheduled induction is 39 weeks because my state won’t let us do any early unless it’s a emergency c-section or low fluid something along those lines we just picked the first day dr was available after 39 week mark my first induction was an emergency situation
