Has anyone been told they have a cyst on their ovary? x

I have one that's just bigger than 5cm on my left side.

Yep I had one and it burst. I was told that it goes once the placenta takes over properly, around 12 weeks

I had to have my cysts removed but not while pregnant. They’re the reason my husband and I started trying to conceive and it worked!

I did... on my right side.  The doctor told me that it would be disappear at about week 12. It never burst and I'm 13 weeks now... I think it's gone?

I was told at my first scan that I have a pretty good size cyst on my right ovary but she didn’t say anything else or seemed concerned I’m going to bring it up again at my next appointment to make sure it’s ok I’ve never had one before

Me! But it’s very small. And nothing to worry about - unless it
Is causing you problems . Mines in my
Left side too! They can get bigger during pregnancy but otherwise should not cause you too much discomfort

When I went for my first scan at 10 weeks I had one on each ovary! I’ve just been for second scan at almost 13 weeks and they’ve almost gone. Some women’s disappear by 20 weeks and aren’t usually a cause for concern (so I was told!)

I do on my left ovary. Doesn’t bother me much.
