Stool softeners are they ok?

TMI but I need help! Anyone know if we can take them it’s been 5 days and I’m in so much pain and just wanna go! hahah.

once you get everything under control, try to find some decent probiotics. it'll prevent you from needing stool softeners!

I was very constipated with my first. I went almost 2 weeks without going to the bathroom. I talked to my doctor and he prescribed a prenatal vitamin with a stool softener in it. All doctors are different and I don’t know if they still have those types of prenatals (that was 9 years ago) but it’s worth a shot if nothing else helps. I haven’t been too bad with this pregnancy, yet!

Yep - colace and miralax or ok.  Use those when it’s real bad, but otherwise try Metamucil.  I hear ya, I was sooooo backed up a few weeks ago!!
