When are you going to start buying baby stuff?

Omg I wanna baby shop so badly but I grew up believing the superstition/ old wives tale about not buying stuff for the baby until I'm 6 months pregnant, it's taking a lot of will power lol

See, it's not that I want to shop yet. More like I want to look at stuff with my hunny. But every time we're at Wal-Mart and I wanna look, he walks away and says it's too early. Lol. It's like I JUST WANT TO LOOKKKKKK not actually BUYYYYY lol

We started as soon as I gor my bfp at 3weeks 1day! We had all the big ticket items (carseat/stroller, crib, pack n play, dressers ect). I'm 22weeks now and we just need a chair, a swing, another carseat for our car and the smaller stuff.

A lot of people wait until the babyshower, but this is my second and from experience, unless you're buying the big stuff yourself or having it early, imo, waiting till the shower is the worst advice I ever received.

I'm only 8 weeks and I've already started stocking up in diapers and wipes.. It's hard not to look at clothes though!! Lol

I have no idea, It's my 30th week and still nothing, no cloths no nursery no nothing. I went a couple of times to babies' stores and as soon as I saw all the stuff.. I felt so overwhelmed that I had to leave. I am guessing if I could not do it sometime in the next month, I will be asking for some help from family/ friends. IDK what's going on with me😢

I'm 14 weeks and I'm just now going to stores to look around. I probably won't do much purchasing until after my baby shower so then I can go buy whatever I wanted that I didn't get.

I started collecting children's books before I was even married... ;) I'm almost 8 weeks and have bought a dresser & shelves for the nursery. The dresser needed to be put together & my husband had time now so I jumped on that. :) I'll wait until the second trimester to start buying clothes and things but I am all about doing a little bit at a time. ;)

My mom and I have picked up things as soon as my second trimester hit. Being a single mom it's been easier to pick up things along the way rather than to wait. I've also been blessed with a plethora of hand me downs. I'm currently 29 weeks and some odd days but I have everything I need and am ready for this lil one. For us we needed to be ready sooner rather than later because my doctors see me going earlier than expected.
