9w6d Red Blood

So, I woke up today to pee and wiped to see red blood. It ended up covering 2 toilet paper wipes worth. I immediately *panicked* and called my nurse and left a message. 20 minutes or so later I wiped again and had spotting but the blood was brown. My nurse called me back and said that with all the blood flow that happens in pregnancy my cervix is probably just bleeding because it’s super sensitive but with the amount of blood and how it is tapering off instead of getting worse I shouldn’t worry. She said if I bleed through a pad in an hour that’s when they get concerned. I have my first ultrasound Friday, and although I’m trying not to worry.... this has definitely made Friday turn into something I’ve been sooooo excited for into something I’m actually kind of dreading 😔 I just want my baby to be okay. Does anyone else have any similar experiences? Trying to “relax” and keep myself “calm” till Friday 😔
