does getting your belly button pierced hurt?

ive had my nose and ears pierced before.  is getting your belly button pierced the same amount of pain as that?

it's that or less pain- initially. belly button piercings don't fully heal for 3-6 months and sometimes a year. any healing piercing is bound to hurt a little. you should expect tenderness, almost like a deep bruise. the needle went in and it burned for my aunt; for me it was just an uncomfortable pinch. best of luck!
