My puppy had to have his eye removed ❤️🐶

He got a laceration on his cornea that ended up getting more and more infected, and it deepened to become an ulceration. We tried a week of medical therapy to treat it, but after even worse results after the medical therapy, we had to make the decision to remove the eye.

He’s one happy boy after two weeks with that cone. He will forever be my pirate puppy now. ❤️🐶

First pic is a few hours post op, second is him today, two weeks later, on the way to get the sutures and cone removed.

The last two are his happy little self not noticing a thing is different.

Whoever said diamonds are a girl’s best friend never had a dog. ❤️🐶
