My baby girl is 2.5 months old and I would like to start pumping. We are moving out of state (driving) and I would like to pump and freeze enough for the drive. I have the nature bond silicone pump and the medella manual pump.

My question is, how do I pump and make sure I still have enough supply for my daughter? I tried pumping one day (with the silicone pump) on the opposite side she ate at every feeding and got one bottles worth. But by evening I had to feed her formula cause I had dried up.

How do you start pumping without shooting yourself in the foot?
