I went to the doctors today told them about my hip and pelvic pain and that I been having contractions I'm 36 weeks they told me I am 1 cen dilated but cervix is still thick Wht does that mean Bc I'm trying to induce labor at this point

I wouldn't advise trying to induce labor at 36 wks, my baby was born at 36 wks and she had to be in the nicu for 23 days for underdeveloped lungs and heart

You could be like this for a while. I’ve been 1cm dilated at 80% for almost 6 weeks now. I’ve had hip and pelvic pain for about 2 weeks.

Sorry, it doesn’t mean anything. That’s not a lot of dilation especially if your cervix is still thick and if it’s your first baby you still probably have at least a couple weeks to go. I was 4 cm for 2 weeks before I went into labor so just hang in there. You only have a couple weeks left anyway.

Just let baby decide when he/she wants to come that’s your best bet rn at this point

Ok no need to be rude ok my doctor said they baby is perfectly fine and developed fully and my bf came a month early and he was perfectly fine ever baby is different baby will come when she wants when I was pregnant with my daughter they told me I was 1 cen dilated and a week later my water broke so u have no nerve to tell me to still inducing labor ik my baby and my body other wise I wouldn't be trying to
