My fiancé and I were LDR for 5 years. Neither of us ever cheated. We loved each other and circumstances (university) kept us across the country from each other. We made it work.

Started out in one with my bf now we live together. It definitely isn’t for everyone but we made it work. We also were friends for 6yrs prior to actually dating so idk if that helped us with distance. Lots of communication and trust are needed.

My bf and I were long distance for 1.5 years. It was challenging in the sense that we desperately missed each other, but we knew our love was worth sacrificing for. Neither of us were unfaithful. I think it can work! I’m living proof 😊 both parties just have to be 100% committed.

In one right now and it really has been absolutely amazing despite our distance. It’s not for everyone though, and it is hard. I think it would’ve been harder had we not been dating before we went long distance. You just have to find creative ways that work for you and your SO to spend time together

I think if it is temporary it works fine. If it is permanent you will rip each other apart with your own insecurities
