20 weeks/Cervix length

Hello ladies,

Just had my 20 week appointment at 20+5. Its a girrrrl!!!!! We are both really excited and they say she is right on the mark for growth and everything looks good.

Then they checked the cervix length and said I would need to be checked again in 4 weeks as it was short at 30mm. She said if in 4 weeks there continued to be a problem I would be put on bedrest!!!!

Since then I have started reading and its really terrifying the prospect of losing the baby due to early labour. Obviously i will do what is best for the baby but bed rest for four months also sounds truly awful.

Anyone been through this? Words of advice etc?
